About Veronica Spera
Veronica is a New York-based assistant food stylist, recipe developer/editor, private chef and pasta enthusiast. She earned her degree in Culinary and Restaurant Management from Johnson & Wales University in Denver, CO., Going on to work in pasta production and on the line in several local restaurants including Frasca Food & Wine, Spuntino, and Rioja. Here she discovered her passion for authentic, Italian cuisine and was inspired to learn the art of pasta-making at its true source, moving to Bologna, Italy to cook & study at La Vecchia Scuola. Following her travels, Veronica moved to New York City to work with the chef & owner of Italienne, Jared Sippel. Veronica currently resides in Brooklyn, freelancing and working on various projects with Bon Appetit, Epicurious, Martha Stewart Living, Buzzfeed- Tasty, Food 52 and many more.
